Join UsMembershipMembership of the Australian Law Librarians' Association is taken out at divisional level. Each Division determines its own membership fees and membership application process. Joining a division automatically entitles you to membership of the National Association. Members receive access to the Members Only area of the website, member rates for subscriptions to the Australian Law Librarian Journal, discounted registration for ALLA conferences and other events, and many other benefits. State and Territory Divisions provide a range of services to members, including professional development programs, the provision of forums for the exchange of ideas and involvement in the Associations' activities, mentoring programs, regular newsletters and social events. Overseas Law LibrariansWe welcome overseas law librarians and information professionals as ALLA members. As membership is currently administered at a divisional (State or Territory) level only, overseas people need to join one of the divisions. It does not matter which division you join - see the 'join us' page on each of the division pages for details and contacts for queries. Overseas law librarians and information professionals are also encouraged to join the ANZ Law Librarians discussion list - this is an open list. |
