Larrikin-Law Libraries-Limerick Competition

To celebrate this year's Symposium, you are encouraged to get creative and write a limerick with law libraries/librarianship as your theme. The best will be awarded a prize, to be presented at the Symposium on Friday 1 October.

Or enter at the Symposium itself - put your entries in the Limerick Competition Box at the Registration Desk. Entries may be submitted by both individuals and groups. You may enter as many times as you like, but one author of each limerick must be attending the Symposium.

Date: Wednesday 29 September 2004
Time: 5.30pm - 7.00pm
Cost: Included in the Symposium registration fee. Additional tickets for partners or guests $55.

Catch up with friends and meet new colleagues over drinks and canapes while being entertained by classical musicians amidst the atmosphere of the highest court in the Australian judicial system. Visit Courtroom One, used for all cases where a full bench of the seven Justices of the Court is required to sit and on all ceremonial occasions. Justice Michael Kirby will give the Symposium welcome address.

Time: 7.00pm till late
Dress: Neat casual so that you can fully enjoy the interactive exhibits

Pre-dinner drinks and canapes will be served among the interactive exhibits of the SideShow Alley Gallery, followed by a 3 course dinner and entertainment in the Questacon foyer.
